KlarSpec as Controller
We collect data about you (the Inspector) to manage your account and billing.
KlarSpec as Processor
We process data about your clients (Homeowners/Buyers) on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring legal collection rights.
2. How We Use Your Data
Account Management
To create and manage your account, process billing via Stripe, and send transactional emails (e.g., password resets, report delivery).
Service Delivery
To power core features including scheduling, inspection report generation, client management, and your inspector website.
Security & Compliance
To detect fraud, prevent unauthorized access, and ensure platform integrity (e.g., Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection).
Platform Improvement
To analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve KlarSpec features. We do not sell your data.
3. Information We Collect

KlarSpec uses essential cookies for authentication and security. If you use our Website Builder, the resulting sites may use cookies to function. Inspectors are encouraged to include their own Privacy Policy on their public-facing websites.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account cancellation, your data is marked for deletion and purged from our active systems within 30–60 days.
